Mstr. Pro is in beta. We're still building and improving features, so things may change. Your feedback helps.

Terms of Service

These terms explain how you can use Mstr. Pro and what you can expect from us. We tried to keep them clear and short.

Last updated November 2, 2026

1. About these terms

Mstr. Pro (the “Service”) is software for service businesses to manage requests, estimates, invoices, jobs, scheduling, clients and payments. It is operated by Mstr. Fix It of San Bruno, CA (“we”, “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm that you can accept these Terms for that company, and “you” means the company.

2. Your account

  • The Service is for businesses and professionals. You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Give us accurate information and keep it up to date, including a working email address.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including the actions of the team members you invite and the permissions you give them.
  • Tell us right away at the email below if you think someone accessed your account without permission.
  • New accounts may need our approval before they can be used.

3. Plans, beta and billing

  • Beta. While Mstr. Pro is in beta, features may be free, limited or change without notice. We will give you reasonable notice before any paid plan starts for your account, and you can choose not to continue.
  • Paid plans. When paid plans apply, the price and what each plan includes are shown on our website or in your account. Fees are charged in advance for each billing period and are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund.
  • Price changes. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects your account. The new price applies from your next billing period.
  • Taxes. Prices don't include taxes. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your use of the Service.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

4. Your data

Everything you or your team put into the Service — clients, addresses, estimates, invoices, photos, notes, prices and files (“Your Data”) — belongs to you.

  • You give us permission to store, process, back up and display Your Data only as needed to provide, protect and improve the Service for you.
  • We don't sell Your Data, and we don't contact your clients for our own marketing.
  • You are responsible for having the right to use the information you add, including your clients' personal information, and for following the privacy laws that apply to your business.
  • You can export your clients, items and documents from the Service at any time.
  • We keep Your Data separate from other companies' data and protect it with reasonable security measures, but no online service can be 100% secure.

5. Messages to your clients

The Service can send emails and links to your clients for you — for example estimates, invoices, payment reminders, visit reminders and review requests.

  • These messages are sent on your behalf and in your name. You are responsible for their content and for having your clients' permission to contact them.
  • You agree to follow the laws that apply to business messages, such as the CAN-SPAM Act and, for text messages, the TCPA.
  • Don't use the Service to send spam or messages to people who asked you not to contact them.

6. Online payments

If you accept payments through the Service, they are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or PayPal. You open your account directly with them and accept their terms.

  • We are not a bank or a payment processor, and we don't hold your money. Payouts, fees, refunds, disputes and chargebacks are between you, your client and the payment provider.
  • Payments you record by hand (cash, check, Zelle and others) are for your records only; we don't move that money.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or use the Service for fraud, fake invoices or misleading documents;
  • upload content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights, or files with viruses or malicious code;
  • try to access other companies' accounts or data, or get around security or plan limits;
  • copy, resell or rent the Service, or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows;
  • overload the Service, or use bots or scrapers on it without our written permission.

8. Third-party services

Some features work with other services — for example payment providers, Google (reviews and maps), email delivery, product catalogs, and imports from other software such as Joist. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. If a third party changes or stops its service, the related feature may change or stop too.

9. Our software

We own the Service, including the software, design, templates and our brand. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your business while your account is active. If you send us ideas or feedback, we can use them freely and without any obligation to you.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running and your data backed up, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features, especially during the beta. If we remove something important you rely on, we'll try to tell you in advance.

11. Ending the service

  • You can stop using the Service and ask us to close your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, hasn't paid, or puts the Service or other users at risk. When reasonable, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
  • Before your account is closed, export anything you want to keep. After an account is closed, we may delete Your Data within a reasonable time, except for what the law requires us to keep.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

The Service helps you prepare documents and track your work, but it is not legal, tax or accounting advice. You are responsible for your prices, tax rates, contracts, licenses and the documents you send.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100 if you didn't pay anything.

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate us for claims, losses and costs that come from Your Data, the messages you send through the Service, your work for your clients, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Mateo County, California, unless the law where you live says otherwise. Before going to court, we both agree to try to solve the problem informally by contacting each other.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When the changes are important, we'll tell you by email or in the Service at least 15 days before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the new Terms.
